029: Tom Brown - My Holland Street Heart

Launching live at The Fremantle Buffalo Club, Friday May 24.

Joined by Anna Schneider and asian milhouse.

“This song is about a woman I call grandma, who lived down the road from me when I was 10 who treated me and my sister like her own - I knew it was a special one for me as soon as I wrote it.”

Big in honesty but small on frills, ‘Carolyn’ introduces Tom Brown’s talent for cutting through and connecting, with its bedroom indie feel of weaving guitar lines and lo-fi production lifted by his natural yet raw vocal and heartfelt lyrics.

029.

Written and recorded by Tom Fawkner.

Mixed by Lance Robinson at Pavement Studios.

Mastered by Kathy Naunton at dB Mastering.
